The employee was looking for headache medicine in his backpack and removed a handgun from the backpack placing it on the truck console. Employees were loading regulators onto a truck for delivery when the lifting cable on their digger truck broke causing the regulator to fall. When the regulator fell, it hit a crate and rolled striking an employee's head. The employee suffered three lacerations to the head that required 35 staples and seven stiches. The employee was hospitalized. |
